Berkeley Hall is a very special place and we’re proud that throughout
our 96-year history, it’s also held a special place in the hearts of our

Need-based financial aid is available.

After we receive a completed application, parents are invited for an
interview and students for a visit. Nursery applicants have a one-hour
classroom visit. Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants come
for a morning assessment in February. There is a group assessment,
as well as a one-on-one kindergarten-readiness assessment. Applicants
for grades 1 – 5 spend part of a morning with us; applicants for grades
6 – 8 meet with our teachers and spend time with students in their grade.
The Admissions Committees meet in early March to make decisions for
the following fall. Decisions are mailed later in March.

It is our goal for prospective families to understand and embrace the
