Where Every Child Belongs

We believe students learn best when they feel seen, safe, and valued. Our mission is to help students better understand themselves and the world - and for us as adults and educators, to be responsive to their needs.

Our DEIB programs and initiatives support all areas of school life from the classroom to wellness. This is how we help prepare children for their roles as scholars, community members, citizens, and professionals.

Berkeley Hall is a diverse community across race, culture, socio-economics, religion, perspective, and background. With 59% of families identifying as BIPOC, we view this as both a strength and a starting point to learn and do more.

We ensure our curriculum reflects diverse global perspectives and cultures, and we use community feedback and climate surveys to inform strategic planning. Our faculty, staff, and board deepen their DEIB competence through ongoing professional development.
