The BHPA Mission

The Berkeley Hall Parent Association (BHPA) exists to enrich the educational experience of our students by fostering relationships within the BHS community through volunteerism.

The BHPA is the heart and soul of the Berkeley Hall experience, offering activities and volunteer opportunities that enhance our sense of community. Every parent and guardian of a Berkeley Hall student is automatically a member of the BHPA. Together members collaborate to strengthen their connection to the school, and to one another, often forming life-long friendships. Our shared purpose is to build personal connections, serve as community ambassadors, contribute valuable talents and resources, while supporting and sustaining our school, present and future. It all benefits our students, their families, and our faculty and staff.

A Spirit of Volunteerism

Volunteering is a way of life at Berkeley Hall. Parents are true partners, not only in their child’s education, but in building the joyful, inclusive culture of our school. From organizing events to helping in the classroom, there are opportunities big or small parents to contribute and connect in a meaningful way.

Ways to Get Involved

From classroom support to school-wide events, there are countless ways for parents to get involved. Below are a few highlights of opportunities where you can make a meaningful impact and have fun along the way.

Become A Room Parent

Room Parents serve as the vital link between teachers and families. They help swith sharing classroom information, welcoming new parents, organizing class activities, supporting school events, and fostering connection within the class community.

Support the Variety Show

Variety Show volunteers make this annual tradition unforgettable by helping with everything from running lights and sound, to managing backstage energy, and decorating Hodges Theatre.

Help Decorate for the Halloween Howl

Halloween Howl volunteers help bring this spooktacular experience to life by building, decorating, prepping animatronics, and setting up (and later breaking down) so our students can enjoy a safe, thrilling Halloween event.

Create a Fall Festival Experience

Join the magic! Fall Festival volunteers help set up, cheer on the parade, and help make this day particularly special for our youngest students.
