Two BHS Artists Win out of 2,500 Global Entries
Each year the conservation group, International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), holds an art contest to call attention to the plight of the world's most endangered animals. On Friday, May 18, Endangered Species Day, we received word that two Berkeley Hall artists were selected out of more than 2,500 entries submitted from around the globe! The winners are both in first grade. It's amazing to have two artists win from the same school, but from the same class?! Wow! Congratulations to Jasmine H. and Brekyn W.
IFAW supports two major animal causes. They are working to preserve habitat of the largest animals on the planet. And they work to alleviate the plight of homeless dogs and cats, not just in the United Sates, but especially in developing countries. Both our BHS artists created art encouraging people to adopt a shelter dog or cat.
