6th Grader Wins Art Medal

Julia I. (6th grade) received a wonderful surprise recently, as you can see here. Last spring, Julia was the runner up for her grade level in the CA Safe Waterways Poster Contest. Her artwork is currently featured on the CA Parks and Recreation website. We didn't know that a medal would be coming as a result of her win, but it certainly is an attractive reminder of the beautiful watercolor she submitted. Congratulations!
