Mrs. DeNisi trained at UCLA Lab School and taught in Japan. She has two children who are BHS alumni and two grandchildren at BHS.
Why do I love teaching? I love teaching because it is a thrill to watch a child’s face light up with delight when they grasp a new idea. I love teaching Kindergarten because I think it is one of the most important years in the life of a human being. There is astonishing growth during this life stage in language development, reading ability, logical reasoning, and personal relationships. It’s an ideal time to establish the work habits and relationship skills that will be beneficial throughout life.
