Special Guest from Columbia University

All N-8 Grade parents were invited to hear directly from Columbia University's Teachers College what our literacy program is all about and why it's so special.

Katie Even from TCRWP (the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project at Columbia University) explained this balanced approach to teaching literacy now being used at BHS. Parents gained a better understanding of what students are learning, and Katie suggested tips for parents to help students at home.

If you missed the event, please enjoy watching the video of her presentation.
