First Big Adventure

AstroCamp, Idyllwild, CA

Fifth graders blast off to the San Jacinto Mountains! On this three-day trip they experience hands-on science with this gentle, exciting introduction to Outdoor Ed and school beyond our campus.

Grade 6

Climb Higher, Together

Pali Institute, San Bernardino Mountains, CA

Sixth grade begins with a three-day adventure set in the mountains. This trip helps students develop collaboration and scientific thinking. It’s about stretching beyond what’s comfortable while knowing your team has your back.

Dive into Discovery

Catalina Island Marine Institute, Catalina, CA

Seventh graders head across the water to explore the ocean world up close. This three-day trip is an unforgettable moment for our middle schoolers, marking a new phase in their personal and academic growth.

Grade 8

Reaching for the Summit

Yosemite National Park, CA

In their final year at BHS, eighth graders head off to Yosemite for a capstone experience that’s both reflective and transformational. Students return inspired, bonded, and ready for high school.

Adventure and Friendship

The 8th grade ski trip is a highlight of the year, where students hit the slopes to ski and snowboard together. It’s an exciting chance for them to challenge themselves and build confidence. The trip sparks teamwork and camaraderie, and provides the graduating class with unforgettable memories on the mountain.
