BHS History
Berkeley Hall School is the oldest, coed independent school in Los Angeles. Founded in 1911 by the Cooper sisters, Berkeley Hall has been committed to empowering children to fulfill their unlimited potential as fearless scholars and conscientious citizens for 109 years! This recently rediscovered photo was taken at the Swall Drive campus in Beverly Hills. In 1980, we moved to our current 66-acre campus on Mulholland Drive.
