Continents and Oceans Salt Map
Second graders engaged in a fun, hands-on Social Studies activity in order to identify and locate the world's seven continents and four oceans and created their very own class map to practice what they learned. By mixing together flour, water and salt, they shaped each continent and placed them correctly on their map. Then students located and labeled each continent and each ocean. They loved this hands-on experience and are excited for more to come!
