World Renowned Violinist Plays Hodges

World-renowned violinist Danielle Belen and pianist Jenny Jung, along with guest artist, 14-year-old Abigel Szilagyi, performed for a captivated audience of students, faculty and parents at our first cultural arts presentation of the school year. Among the pieces performed by Danielle and Jenny were the first and second movements of Franck's Sonata for Violin and Piano and Schnittke's Silent Night. Abigel, accompanied by Jenny, masterfully performed a violin concerto by Max Bruch (see if you recognize the piece from the video) and then was joined by Danielle to perform the Bach Violin Concerto for Two Violins in d Minor.

This program was generously donated by Craig and Jennifer Zobelein, who are also the donors of our beautiful music room. Mr. Zobelein is an alum of Berkeley Hall, as is their daughter Serena.
