New Berkeley Hall Tennis Academy
We are excited to announce the establishment of the Berkeley Hall Tennis Academy.
Thanks in large part to a substantial donation from BHS dad, Chuck Uhlmann, along with donations from other Berkeley Hall families, the new Academy will be able to work closely with our Athletic and Operations departments to facilitate expanded tennis programming for students and their families as well as fund important upgrades to our Kennedy Tennis Center facilities.
In particular, Mr. Uhlmann’s generous gift allows BHS to proceed with plans to rebuild our long out-of-service fourth court, bringing the Kennedy Tennis Center fully back to life by early 2015.
Congratulations also go to fellow BHS dad, Michael Beaudry, named the Academy’s first president – a volunteer position coordinating with the school’s Athletic and Operations personnel.
We are exceedingly grateful to Mr. Uhlmann and Mr. Beaudry. Their generosity and service will bless Bobcat tennis for many years to come.
