New Athletic Logo - Calling all Creative Thinkers in our BHS Community!

Dear Berkeley Hall School Community,

We would love your help! We are currently redesigning the BHS Athletic Logo. About a month ago, Coach Melanie started working with the students and got them thinking about this important question: What does it mean to be a BHS Bobcat? She received wonderful feedback from the students and narrowed their Bobcat qualities down to these five: Agile, Focused, Courageous, Confident and Strong.

We would like our new athletic logo to embody these qualities so that the logo becomes an accurate statement and representation of our Athletic Program and Berkeley Hall School. Another benefit derived from an improved athletic logo will be more marketable and merchandise-friendly athletic/spirit-wear for all!

We have invited the students – and we are now inviting the community – to submit artwork before we leave for spring break.

Here are some guidelines to help you with the process:
  • Artwork is submitted needs to be translated into a simple line for simple graphics.
  • Be sure that the artwork looks effective in black & white as well as in color.
  • The graphic should speak for itself. Color may enhance the image but does not rely on the image for effectiveness.
  • All artwork submitted is a donation. All volunteering participants are freely giving their ideas without payment. It could be that the elements of many designs submitted may be combined to create a whole new image that best represents how we defined being a Bobcat.
The goal is for the final logo to represent all of us, and to have it be inspired by all of our input. Thank you in advance for being part of this special journey to discover our new athletic logo! We would like to unveil our new logo at the end of the school year near graduation.

Thank you Coach Melanie for spearheading this effort and – Go Bobcats!
