Difference Maker Sydney Brouillard-Coyle
Lisa Taylor
She gets her boots dirty. She has since she was six. 15-year-old Difference Maker Sydney Brouillard-Coyle told a packed Hodges audience about her passion for change and what she's doing to make it happen.
As the first in our Difference Maker Series, Sydney is a great example to our students of what it means to get out there and make a difference by getting your boots dirty in the process. She started at age six making sandwiches for the homeless and her acts of service have grown to global heights - including her involvement in We Day. After her talk, hosts of the Life Changes Show, Fillipo Voltagio and BHS dad Mark Laisure took questions for Sydney from the students in the audience. Then, Mark and Filippo interviewed Sydney on stage for their radio program. The students came away with a desire to "get their boots dirty" and think about ways in which they can make a difference in the world.
