Mackenzie Scott

Director of Student Wellness

In her position as Director of Student Wellness, Mackenzie Scott serves as a student advocate to promote the healthy development of the children and families in our community. She supports and manages student wellness, discipline, restorative justice practices, social and emotional learning, and mental health awareness. . 

Ms. Scott holds a Master’s in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Strayer University. She is a Mental Health First Aider and Instructor, and certified Family Planning Health Worker. Ms. Scott’s most recent experience includes working with the L.A. Trust for Children’s Health and the L.A. Education Partnership where she supported youth development, health services, and transition programs in schools and communities, also developed programmatic policies and procedures. 
 
Ms. Scott is a California native and the youngest girl of eleven children. She is an avid concertgoer and enjoys exploring the world of arts, culture, and creative spaces (museums, local pop-up shops, festivals, dance, music, poetry, healing dialogues, etc.).
