Justin Myers

Justin has been involved with sports from as early as he can remember. He played five different sports in high school and played soccer, rugby, and basketball in college. Athletics have always been a key part of Justin’s life, and after running a team sports program at a summer camp in Maine and coaching 5 soccer teams in Iowa, he wanted to work with sports full time.

After majoring in Political Science with minors in Asian Studies and Spanish, Justin decided to pursue a career in athletics by completing his Masters in Athletic Administration from Ohio University. Along with his Masters, Justin completed the SHAPE America football program, and has his Level 1 USA Track and Field certification and a US Soccer F license.

Justin continues to participate in athletics playing volleyball, soccer and basketball throughout the year. Justin’s main objective at Berkeley Hall is to provide students the opportunity to play a variety of sports and determine what type of physical activity they enjoy most. As a coach, he guides his athletes, teaches them how to collaborate, gives them confidence, and helps them see their best qualities.

His coaching philosophy? If his athletes attend practice and work hard, they will absolutely get playing time and the opportunity to develop. Teams are kept small, no one is cut from a team, and every athlete on each team understands the rules and strategies of the game by the time they finish the season.
