Mr. Coe is a Berkeley Hall alumnae. He has taught for 14 years in both public and independent elementary schools. Before teaching at Berkeley Hall, he taught at an LAUSD public school in Santa Monica. In addition to a degree in graphic design and game design, he has a background in earth science, astronomy, film and broadcast studies. When working as a lead salesperson at an Apple Retail location he loved watching kids come into the store, sit down and just naturally start using the computers. he decided to go into teaching. He loves being back at Berkeley Hall and joining an amazing faculty of educators.
Why do I love teaching? I love seeing the “Ahaa!” moments when kids really get something; whether it’s a brand-new concept, or a new aspect of something they thought they already knew.
