Steps to Apply

The annual deadline for admission applications for the following academic year is January 25. However, we do consider applicants beyond the annual deadline date for grades where there are openings. Please contact us if you have questions about applying after a deadline.

Step 1 – REQUEST ADMISSION INFORMATION
  Fill out our online form or request information by calling (310) 476-6421, ext. 216. We will email you a username to log in our admissions portal with instructions how to apply.
 
Step 2 – COME VISIT  The best way to get to know Berkeley Hall is to visit our serene 66-acre mountain-top campus. We invite you to come our Admission Open House on Sundays or an Admissions Coffee and Tour while school is in session. Registration is required for all Admission events. Please register on the Admissions Events page.

Step 3
– APPLY ONLINE  Use your BHS username to access your child's Admissions Progress Checklist and complete the online application.

Step 4 – SUBMIT RECOMMENDATION FORMS AND TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORMS TO CURRENT SCHOOL  All forms are available to download on your child's Admissions Progress Checklist.

Step 5 – ASSESSMENT / TESTING / PARENT INTERVIEW  Call to schedule these after submitting the application. 5th to 8th grade applicants need to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) prior to January 31.

Step 6 – RELAX AND RELEASE THE OUTCOME! If your child is meant to be at Berkeley Hall, you will know and so will we. Admission notifications will be available on the portal at 5pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 for grades K-8.
