As the Language Arts Teacher for Sixth Grade, Ms. Holmgren has furthered her graduate studies at UCLA in Education. Ms. H. taught Elementary Science for three years, and helped create Berkeley Hall's Innovation/STEAM program She has also served as Berkeley Hall’s Literacy Specialist. In addition, she teaches Digital Photography and has been the Head Swim Coach for our Berkeley Hall Aquatic Bobcats for the past four years. Outside of Berkeley Hall, Ms. H. tutors students of all ages, and has taught English and Special Education at various high schools in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Lynn has participated in three writing seminars at Teachers College at Columbia University, and  is a published writer. Her passion is helping special needs students, and students who are struggling.

Why do I love teaching? I love watching students realize all of the wonderful things that they are capable of.
